Balancing Wildlife Management and Recreation

The National Wildlife Refuge Improvement Act requires us to consider these 6 wildlife-dependent public uses during our planning process. (Wildlife Observation, Wildlife Photography, Hunting, Fishing, Environmental Education, and Interpretation). For a use to be approved on a NWR it must be determined to be both appropriate and compatible with the establishing purposes of the refuge. Tell us your ideas for balancing the wildlife management needs and recreational opportunities.
